It’s an honor for our club to be named for George Billingsley and for us to have Boyce as an active member of the club.
Our club is named after former prominent local businessman and staunch Razorback and University of Arkansas supporter George Billingsley, who initially founded the club in the 1960’s.  George and his wife Boyce were honored in 2002 as the recipients of the University of Arkansas’ Sports Hall of Honor's Distinguished Service Award.  In 2005, they were also named (George posthumously) as the University of Arkansas’ recipients of the Chancellor’s Medal.  A bust in their likeness is displayed at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
